Brad and Sharon met at Bistro 33 Pub Quiz on March 18, 2009. Brad was there for dinner. Sharon was there to win the quiz. Brad spotted Sharon and finagled an invitation to join her close-knit girls' team. Sharon indulged him.  It was love at first sight.

It took some time for us to start dating.  Let’s just say, “it was complicated.” But after many lunches and other get-togethers, our official first date was May 18, 2009 at the first of many rock 'n' roll concerts to come.

For 12 years, our relationship has grown, both as a couple and as a blended family. We had sons to raise, parents to care for, and passings to bear.

On New Year's Eve 2019-2020, Brad proposed on the balcony of our Florida condo, with beach, night sky, and Atlantic Ocean as witness.  We were excited to plan a wedding with friends and family. But then Covid started getting serious, and we chose to elope instead.

Our wonderful friends Steve and Anne Haertle agreed to be best man and matron of honor, and with less than a week to plan, turned our courthouse vows into a beautiful and memorable event. We were married at the Placer County courthouse on March 6, 2020. 

Two and a half years later we are grateful to say our vows, debut our wedding, and celebrate with our beloved boys, family, and friends. Once again, Anne and Steve are bringing their magic to make it an occasion to remember.
